Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • {cork, 13%} Mid-yellow with distinct flashes of green. Steely, mineraly nose - maybe with a tiny whiff of oak? - somewhat developed, although in the sense of primary fruit fading rather than true secondary characters emerging. Stoney, nutty aromas precede a steely acidic palate, medium-bodied in weight, with rather monolithic steely flavours. Sits on the front and sides of the tongue. OK, but seems a bit one-dimensional, and much as I try, I can't find any sign that this is suddenly (or even gradually) going to blossom into something magnificent.
