Community Tasting Notes (1)

  • On the nose I find dark and red berries: blackberry, cranberry and sour cherry. There's some wild animal activity here that I wait for in a Refosco but this is more of a floral wine. Some violets and some pelargonia (not like in a flawed wine). A touch of milk chocolate and pickle.
The mouthfeel is quite light and interestingly acidic with round lactic acidity. Aromatically it follows the nose. Somehow this tastes like a wine in progress. Not very long nor complex - but strangely fascinating.
