Color: Golden yellow. Nose: Cream, pineapple, orange blossom. Very intense. Mouth: Very smooth. It has started to loose its fat but at the same time has also started to become a little bit tired. Still quite vibrant and an aroma of a tropical fruit salad. A toasting aroma like toasted nuts, too. Still an excellent wine but I would drink up in the next 2 years.

A truly wonderful drink! Wonderful bouquet! Very suave in mouth a drink I am not about to forget. This is a full bodied white with lots of fruit and a pleasant kick in the second half of the in mouth experience. My feeling is that this wine is at it apogee.

Color: Lemony yellow. Nose: Tropical fruit salad with whipped cream on top. There is a nice freshness, too. Mouth: Same on the palate. Wow, what an intensity! There is absolutely no sign of a tired wine. It has still many years ahead. This wine isn't neither round, broad nor cloying as others suggest. It's the opposite: This wine is lean, focused and bone-dry. I am really astounded about the others' scores. Did I get the best barrel? It's one of the best white wines I have ever had.

Color: Shiny golden. Nose: Tangerine, whipped cream, canned pineapple, guave, probably I missed the one or other exotic fruit. Mouth: Consistent with the nose. Additionally there is some lemon and grapefruit and smoke in the finish. At the end of the finish there is a mushroom aroma. On a par with the 2007 hence the same rating. The difference between the 2007 and 2008 is that the 2008 is more on the fresh side and has less toasting aromas. 13.5% alc.

Terroir-istes International - France, Bordeaux, Pessac-Leognan Blanc, Part 1 (Rodwell House): Mid straw to light-gold, the nose shows signs of development with Sotolon, barley sugar and cooked oranges. Possibly oxidation continues onto the palate, but the acid is lively, and the fruits are tangerine peel and ripe melon. A potentially good wine let down by overdeveloped characters that finish in burnt sugar and some sweet notes.
