A Capella - 'E' (Engadin Valley, Switzerland): This was singing right out of the bottle. Rosmary, meat loaf, White pepper and eucalyptus. It did remind me of a Heitz Martha's vineyard. It had an awesome viscosity and was very dense and fat. didn't improve with air and lost its touch after about 3 hours open, so that would indicate that it should be drunk over the next 3-5 years.

This has a drinking window described as ending in 2013 but having opened one last night I can say it's still got legs. Bright berries, some smokey flavors and very well balanced tannins. If you have bottles and thought they might be past there best - dig in and be delighted. I joyfully have 4 bottles remaining.......

Nice fruit on the front end, a little stringent after taste, but as it opened, it was very jammy.
Could not think anything other than I was drinking an Turley Estate Zin! I know, I speak heretic words, but that is what this bottle was giving me.
Still hilding up well.

Pretty nose of violets and mint. Still well-structureed and a bit stern, but went well with the grilled leg of lamb.

Classic Barossa, age has made it soft and refined
