This was quite nice after an hour or so of air with lots of dark, earthy, spicy red fruit with some brambly undertones and subtle stewy notes. This is a really nice village Nuits that, to my tastes, is in a perfect place right now.

This bottle was drinking very well tonight, but needed every bit of 3 hours to open, then it was all midweight, dark, almost rustic, earthy red fruit, baking spice and sous bois notes that had, perhaps, the barest hint of greenish undertones. This is a really good village Nuits that still has a fair amount of unresolved structure and, I think, a lot of forward looking potential.

This has a very pretty nose of red fruit, earth and spice, all of which carry over to the fairly forward, mid weight palate that's showing really good depth for a village nuits. There's still some chalky tannin on the longish finish, but overall, this is drinking very well with just an hour or so of air.
Revisited at about 4 hours and this was really singing.
Purple red color. Elegant nose of red fruit. On the palate a pleasant soft round wine easy to drink. Nice acidity and round ripe tannins. Not very complex, medium body and ready now.Very good indeed.
