Still drinking excellently after 6 hours open. Nose of firewood, semi-dried tomatoes and meat falling off the bone. Generous mouth of pencils, nettles and raspberries. Medium length finish of dried apricots and blackberries. Has excellent balance and with this much body (and given it's screw cap) should be good for another 5 years or so.

Blood plums, tobacco, spices and a late mineral after taste (like you've tasted a grey led pencil tip). Far better 2-3hrs after opening and decanting. Nice drop.

TravisW on the ball. But got better after the 2nd hour here. Fairly smooth and pretty rich. Not much in the secondary, flavour wise, but pretty long finish.

Drank over two nights and it got a bit better. Deep purple-black. The nose is concentrated but quite floral; Plums, spice and a hint of seasoned oak. The palate follow the nose with rich but well balanced fruit, tannin and acid. Full in flavour but there is a certain elegance here. Long slightly savoury finish. Nice wine which could age for 2-4 years.

Possibly the best GSM I've tasted from the Barossa. Near perfect balance.
