Decanted off its sediment and served an hour later. Opaque inky crimson color masks its age. Notes of black currant, licorice, incense and spice. Full-bodied. Plum, mixed berry compote and cinnamon with a subtle chocolate note in the background. Finishes with good length. Lovely.

This is absolutely starting to hit its stride. Open nose with plenty of fruit and a touch of cedar and herbal notes. The palate is rich and full, but nothing is overbearing. Lots of muscle, but everything is integrated with fresh acidity and tannic grip. Finishes long. This is still improving. With four left, I will be checking every five years.

Our first of six, decanted off its fine sediment and served with prime bone-in ribeye...nothing better for ribeye than young(ish) CA cab sauv IMO. Dark inky crimson color. Notes of campfire, black currant, raspberry and violets. Shows a bit of heat too. Youthfully tannic and structured- I definitely would have guessed this was a good bit younger if drinking blind. Currant, black raspberry and a hint of licorice on the palate. Really tasty, albeit young. Definitely decant and serve at the proper temperature if enjoying now. 93 for me, 93+ for Domino.

Last bottle - still inky purple color. Quite fresh if muted nose. Dark berry. Fairly jammy if tired flavors. Not much structure. Pleasant enough but has seen better days.
