Nose: mung beans, red fruits, strawberry, black tea, hoisin, leather, smoke Notes: Drank vertically with CSJ 04,06,08,13 and CdR 06,08,11. Opened for more than 5 hours before drinking. There's a bit of a metallic finish in the palate and it somehow feels a little sandy. As I believe this wine has not developed fully yet so I can capture a bit of the hoisin sauce aroma and as time goes by one can start getting the smoky notes of this wine. Still plenty of potential lying ahead despite not drinking super well today so I think this bottle warrants another visit in the future Drink: 2032+ Rating: 91

Intriguing nose of Pinot, there is beautiful red fruit, mainly cherries, middle density with nice length, tannins well integrated but perceivable. Pretty much 2008 from a top producer and terroir. Good already after a decant of 3 hours, no worries for the next years.

Acker "Paulee" Burgundy Dinner (Capital Seafood - Beverly Hills CA): Paulee style dinner. Black and red cherry throughout with good+ depth, but lean textures making this seem backward tonight. Not as harmonious vs the previous time tasted two years ago.

08/12 pair. Very similar to the 12 just without the sheer power and more refined. Lovely spice and meat intensity.
