  Very much a food wine, the fruit is tightly entwined with the soil and vegetal notes, given a fresh edge by the mid palate acidity.
  At this point it seems the wine is yet to really fully arrive.

  Decanted 1 hour, consumed over 3.5 hrs. I would recommend decanting longer as it took 2 hrs for the strong tannins to ease. Dark Ruby, slight garnet on edge. Nose of black fruit, leather, chocolate, smoke. Palate initially overwhelmed by tannins. Red and black fruit.

  a fine example of a perfectly aged BDM.. all that ripe fruit has now meshed with the backbone into a balanced beauty

  Cherries sweet, and chocolate on the nose, ruby colour, cherries chocolate and some leather in the mouth, just right acidity but tannins though soft still a bit high, no t much length but a decent bottle and not high in alcohol which makes a pleasant change.
