A sublime complex nose of barrel toast and possibly marzipan!
On the palette, the wine os perfectly balanced. The texture is soft and plush with no sharp edges. This pinot has an uncommon richness. Cherries and cinnamon dominate.
Wine Spectator tasted this wine in 2010. I cannot reconcile their 87pt rating with mine.

Some light fruit in balance with an earthy/slate like finish. Enjoyed with pizza.

Opened a jerobom for a dinner for 9, where the main course was pork loin. The wine was a little thin and not showing much fruit.

Good, but not great. Muted fruit flavors with slight earthy/rustic profile.
