  • Nice maturity. Red core with red brick garnet rim. Dark wooded and red fruit nose. Alcohol medium plus, acidity medium plus, tannin medium plus. Needs time to open up and come up to temperature. Palette enters thin, weightless, light, but comes up with persistent fine tannic finish that follows some hot, tart red fruits and wood. Nose is Bordeaux like and enticing for fine aged wine lovers. Nose is concentrated, focused, evolving, enjoyable. Somewhat short tannic and tart in the mouth. Old world. Good wine. Drink with patience.

Day 2: wine is going Strong with its candied wood and red fruit character. Much more subdued and integrated now with regards to the mature acid/tannin/alcohol/fruit embodiment. This wine is stable. A fine wine we have on our hands here. Drink now; however, The more air time the better for this one to come together. Very nice.
