Popped and poured. Bottled in 2015. Oddly very light in both color and palate. The color was light orange. Very smooth on the palate without any real alcohol heat. Good sweetness that allowed for pairing with a dessert (we did brownies) without the wine overpowering the dessert. As essentially a 20-year tawny port, it doesn't stand up well against 20-year tawny vintage blends such as Fonseca, Graham, or Warre, but still costs the same.

Friday Group Brown Bag Tasting (J&J's): Light color. Toffee, cherry and white currant fruit elements. Has a nice sweetness but remains balanced and not overbearing. Quite nice.

Almond orange and lemon peel on the nose. Palate is rich oranges, curaçao, and roasted pine and peanuts. Slightly one Dimensional, but very yummy. Good Tawny value.

A business dinner (Amsterdam): Bottled 2015. No detailed notes but very similar to my previous experience. An attractive if not overly exciting Colheita - the structural weakness did not seem as vexing today as it was in October 2015.
