Notes after three hours open. Light to medium gold with a nice shimmer and quick legs on the glass, No sediment or crystals. Less energy, aromatically, than it had two years ago but the palate is still wonderfully composed and expressive. Persistent length and lush flavors with a beautifully light kiss of oak. Drink or hold. 5+11+18+8 = 92

Gorgeous and ready. Light gold color and a shimmery bright edge. Perfect balance of cream and spice, fruit and confection. So smooth and delicious. I would note finer details but I'm enjoying drinking it too much. Very highly recommend. 5+11+18+9 = 93

Chassagne Montrachet Flight (Arlequin Wine Merchant, San Francisco): Medium yellow. Chalky, flowery aromas. Dense feel-probably the biggest wine of the tasting. Ripe pineapple on the entry but good stony cut at the back end with interplay between sweet and sour on the finish.

COLOR: Pale Yellow. NOSE: Lemon, white stone fruit and subdued spring flowers. MOUTH: Well delineated layers of lemon, peach and spice with an lingering overlay of vanilla. OVERALL: Beautiful texture on the palette with nice minerality well balanced with acidity for a long finish. A wonderful white burgundy, but wait another year or so and it will be better. Very nice accompaniment to the tasting menu at the Inn at Little Washington.
