Nose: black cherry, strawberry, florals, earth and a raspberry jam. Slightly perfumed. Palate: gorgeous fruit with strawberries and cherry pie notes. Fuller bodied and coating the mouth but balanced acidity rounded it out. Finish: berries, bramble and white pepper.

Nose: Raspberry, Strawberries and some perfumed vanilla. Also shows some toasted caramel, basil and black pepper notes. Palate: Tart and bright red fruit right up front. Strawberry, red current and citrus-like acidity. Slightly hollow on the mid-palate, but nice to get a full wine that is not overly alcoholic or cloying. Finish: Notes of red fruit, tart berries and allspice. Oak is not overt, but adds some toasty spice in the finish.
Day 2 Update - Wine is more cherry, forest floor and floral driven. Acidity subsided with overnight slow ox and actually improved a bit. 91+ on day 2. Ehren had a great 2008 vintage in pinot.

I had enjoyed t his much more in a restaurant recently than this recently purchased bottle. In the restaurant it had been dark and brooding, but on this tasting it was simply pleasant, generic, medium wieght pinot. I will give them some more cellar time to settle down and taste again.
