Opened not decanted. After an hour it opened up a bit. Pretty ruby to brick at the edges. Very light tears. Soft tannins, decent bit of fruit left. Nice old BDXbut not special.

Opened and decanted before drinking after 1/2 hr. Cork was dry and broke (should have used the Durant!)...
Youthful but not especially fantastic BDX. Cast a LOT of sediment, was the bottle flawed? Plenty of fruit, acid, tannins but not really integrated for whatever reason. I guess it cost $20 for a reason...
The next day it really hadn't improved at all.

13% Vol. laut Flasche. Viel Bodensatz. Von Jochen D. 2010 für 13,33 € erworben. 89 Punkte. Bis 2020.

(Cambon la Pelouse) Bordeaux Bargain Dear Friends, I sound like a broken record but we get more requests for everyday, well-priced Bordeaux than almost anything else. When I can find a stash that is in perfect shape, I jump. This wine is about value and quality - it’s another bottle that does not need intellectual discourse to convince your taste buds that it’s a perfect Tuesday night quencher. I’ve had this wine several times in bottle and it’s a great buy and is just what it should be for those looking for a toned down, lighter Pape-Clement-style approach (i.e modern) in a well-priced package. A top value: ONE SHIPMENT ONLY AT THIS PRICE 2003 Cambon la Pelouse (Haut-Medoc) Thank you, Jon Rimmerman Garagiste Seattle, WA Bord8811

Drinking well, but no hurry. Dark fruit, drying tannin. This bottle got better with air and was better with food than by itself.

Rather boring wine, lacking structure and thrill. The vintage was just to hot for lots of Producers.
