Light bodied and distintive, though lacking in concentration and texture, with an interesting mix of pine needle, green melon, anise, lemon and dried floral flavors.

Just having the last bottle from this batch tonight. Still very impressed with this for the price. Candle wax and lemon support an overall tropical nose. It makes for a great combination, but not quite the assault on the senses that a sauvignon blanc can be. This might be the winter version of a good SB. This has a more complex and supporting mineral backbone than an SB though and works great with lots of different foods.

Walker gets some Greek Wines (Office): Beautiful aromatics. Clean, with great fruit. Some herbal qualities. Great blend. (Moscofilero and Rodites) 88-89

After a tasting of this today, I decided to bring one home for dinner. Glad I did!

Gaia and Kir-Yianna Greek Wines and Italian value wines (Prince Wine Store - Bank Street): An interesting tropical fruit and lemon nose with some interesting funky notes. Palette displays fresh peaches and pineapple with a low acid mouthfeel and a tight pleasant finish. Easy drinking and great value.
