Somewhat past it's drinking window. Still a good wine but it lost some of the complexity that led me to choose it for my cellar. Should have opened it last year.

Toasty yeasty nose, reminds me if a medium aged champagne. Citrus vanilla and some grapefruit on the palate. Some floral notes show up as well. There is a medium amount if acid on the palate, recognizable but not overdone or shrill. Somewhat viscous mouthfeel with a medium plus finish. Good. Drinking well now.

Similar flavor profile to the last bottle, but this time I got a little better acidity and much less bitterness on the finish. Perhaps this benefited from the extra time in bottle.

2nd bottle of 2. I really like this wine. Clean fun fruit and lots of acidity. I like the Tous Ensemble Chard they've had the last couple vintages, but I do wish they still made this wine. One of the best things about Copain is they really do deliver on these entry level wines. Not sure if it will get better with age, but lasted great over several days.

(Copain Viognier Tous Ensemble) Light lemon yellow color; tart pear, peach nose; tart peach, tart citrus palate with good acidity; medium finish 88+ points

Light yellow. Fruit aromas and flavors are exhausted, revealing anise and mineral. Past peak; drink up. Sourced from the winery.
