Medium to Heavy Body with no noticeable alcohol at all. This wine has a big nose, peach, melon, apples. The flavors in the mouth are similar but with an added minerality and acid while remaining soft and quite lush. Age has rounded out the wine and is in drink now phase.

{screwcap, 12.5%, A$14} Pretty youthful still; some citrus aromas, but drenched in stones and sea-salt. The palate is dry (I think) but generous, with a real stone-sucking quality to the texture, decent acid, and a light-medium body. This doesn't stop it lightly tantalising the whole tongue; a good effort from a wine at this price. The finish is only short-medium length, so a 'rave' note is precluded, but this still hints at the greatness of which albarino might be capable. Streets ahead of pinot grigio for interest, that's for sure.

Slight hints of sea air to the nose. Extremely light and minerally. Not much fruit though a slight hint of acidy sweetness does seem to come through. I do like albarninos and this one is just a little blah. Drinkable and enjoyable with a little seafood but timid on its own.

Medium light acid. Medium body with short finish. Loved the fresh citrus flavor.
