Cloudy magenta with a fair amount of sediment. Violet, blueberry, and chocolate nose. Medium bodied, cherries, blackberries, solid well integrated tannins, sage, a bit of heat, and a long, sweet finish. Great now; drink now.

Still tight on PnP, this opened slowly with time/air but was spicy and tannic initially. Was much better after 2 nights vacu-vin'd, leading me to believe that this still has plenty of life in it. On 3rd day; plums, blueberry and blackberry with well integrated oak and just the right amount of peppery spice on the medium+ finish. Medium bodied wine with medium tannins. Smooth and enjoyable. Peter's wines are generally unfined and unfiltered so I was surprised to find virtually no sediment in the bottle. Drink or hold.

Catching up with consumed bottles, and my lack of timely notes.
Another well enjoyed Wellington is the best I can do.
