Drunk with dinner over two nights. Deep ruby - no bricking. Wet leather, black olives, mushrooms, ripe black plums and deep woodland humus. On the palate a little sweetness but great acidity. Tannins are present but soft. Real savouriness and very more-ish as a result. Great length and persistence. Works really well with food. A delicious wine - I really enjoyed this! Very much secondary and tertiary flavours predominate so at mature peak now - slightly better on second day so I think it will last for many years yet.

Brett bomb on first opening and for the firs5 45 min, with VA and dissolved CO2. Then a brief moment of clarity with crunchy cranberry and pure red roses. But then goes onto to tannins. All the time alive and electric. Brilliant.

These cru Beaujolais can be just so delicious and Kermit Lynch is always a good source of fine wine. Purchased in 2010, this bottle aged well in the cellar. Dark purple in color with no signs of age, the wine is seamless in texture with creamy red strawberry, cherry, faint pomegranate balanced nicely by notes of sandalwood, garden herbs, earth, and faint mineral. The wine is pure elegance and balance, perfectly mature and drinking in good window. Should hold fine for a few more years, although not sure it will improve.
