Community Tasting Notes (2) Avg Score: 85 points

  • Clear and bright with a beautiful medium amber colour and dense slow falling legs. The nose is clean and fully developed, showing medium- intensity simple aromas of caramel, butterscotch, raisins, molasses, honey and prunes. The wine is medium-dry with a high lively acidity, high alcohol, medium body and medium intensity flavours of caramel, molasses, raisins and prunes. Medium finish.

It is a good quality wine with a decent flavour concentration and length. But it lacks complexity and the flavour concentration needs to be more pronounced to balance the alcohol and acidity. Drink now, it will not improve in the bottle but can be kept for many years.
