Cloudy purple. Nose very fruity, then retreated into a shell, then almost a walnut shell smell mixed with fruits (I get this sometime as a type of corked, but can get it in amarone, among others) Taste was a very good mix of fruits. The nose was troublesome, taste hinted at a very good wine.

A little young, got better and more elegant with time. Started showing a little oaky, burly then evolved to more earthy notes. Still, firm tannins, cherry and dark fruits notes. Rather masculine and big. Needs a little time.

Very cloudy mauve colored wine. First sip seemed bitter and a bit off. Decanted and after half an hour it was amazing. Great nose from the beginning. Classic violets and barnyard. On the palate it was rich almost opulent. Quite a surprise given the initial impression. Lovely to drink.

I had no idea that the 99's were so rich and ripe, particularly a beune, this wine was fantastic, light cloudy color and very expressive nose, a pleasure to consume

Sadly, we waited too long. Super bricky in color and vinegar.
