  Just lovely....this bottle seemed a whole lot less developed than last couple, not a lot of the tertiary bouquet, just a hint but laid over ever so slightly sweet singing red fruit with real lift. Though not desperately complex so very very drinkable and utterly delicious. Only 2 bottles left..will be sad to see them finished.

  Decanted for an hour and opened up nicely. Sweet cherry and earth aromas, nicely balanced and pretty. In the mouth it starts with some bright fresh cherry fruits, it's quite juicy, there's a savoury streak through the middle and a little zing of acidity at the sides, the finish is a little dry and a little short, but it's a really enjoyable wine, maybe it can hold for a year or two, but I wouldn't think that it will improve.

  1st off bottle of this wine - no aroma at all after an hour in decanter and was acid and unpleasant to drink. Opened a second that was fine. Hope this was a 1-off.

  Goodness me, but we like this wine. A lot. From previous bottles we have learned that it seems to prefer decanting and an hour or two relaxing to show at its best, so we gave it exactly that. Colour is still a fresh light red, but just starting to fade at the rim. Aroma was splendid - fresh red fruits and cherry, but with savoury twig/undergrowth notes that makes each inhalation a pleasure. Backed up on the palette with really smooth finish and good length. Loved it.

  Good depth of flavour and just starting to develop some secondary characters. Lovely red fruits, mint, forest floor appearing. Deep fruits, touch of chocolate, long finish.
