  This is one of my favourite Calavdos; deep, complex and fresh at the same time. Perhaps not so round and full as the offerings from Camut but subtle and elegant. Perhaps fine left bank Bordeaux compared to Camut's Burgundy. Excellent.

  This was a lovely drink. The nose was subtle and delicate. The palate was not very big but showed depth, mature fruit, some spice, suave texture, grip on the finish and a burnished note with slight caramel hints. Costs €105 but at least equal to much Cognac and Armagnac costing more than twice as much. Excellent.
  
  PS from 3/15/2019: Some dregs left in the bottle showed a quite youthful fruitiness, which I didn't note before, which complemented and enlivened the more mature features. A lovely drink.

  Petite déguste de Calvados avec les pottes...5 bouteilles de Groult en parallèle.
  Super beau et bien fruité, de la classe même si c'est pas donné.
  C'est succulent, sur le jus de pomme avec de subtiles notes de boisé et de pain d'épices. Fort complexe et savoureux.
  La finale est longue et légèrement épicée avec de belles notes de pommes cuites.
  Superbe
