From a mag. Fantastic wine. Very tight upon opening and slow-oxed almost 4 hours. This wine has the roundness in mouth and big bottom of wood, mineral and flint that you expect from this climat. Everyone loved it.

La Paulée de San Francisco - Gala Dinner (The Fairmont - San Francisco CA): Small glass, brief note. Magnum from domaine. Very far and opulent with ripe apple, walnut and slightly sweet spice. Very big and so charming for the near-term. Moderate structure.

La Paulée de SF Gala Dinner (Fairmont Hotel, SF CA): From magnum poured by Erwan. The nose has dense, rich orchard fruit with a well-integrated matchstick note. Rich, concentrated and chewy on the palate. Well integrated toast, some hazelnut, and plenty of minerality. Dense, delicious, finish.
