The color is a medium-dark maroon, the aroma deep but full of bright sweet berries wrapped up in oak. The flavor is very much the same, strong berries, a little oak. As it opens up I feel like I can really smell and taste the alcohol (15.1% ABV if you're curious).
I like it, but then, I'm a fan of grenache, and this is 62% grenache.
Tasted at above 65°F.

Medium ruby-purple in glass, aromas of wild berries and vanilla. Flavors of red fruits, some garrique and a nice snappy medium finish showcase a very enjoyable GSM blend, alone or paired with food. Surprising at this price point.

62% Grenache, 33% Syrah, 5% Mourvedre. 600 case production. 16 months French oak - 30% new. Floral nose, really tasty fruit, some spice, Grenache shines in this. Not a fruit bomb though, there's nice acidity here too, tasty fruit on the finish.

Creamy Aussie-style GSM. Both bitter and creamy at the same time. One dimensional that dimension isn't all that good.
