Four hour decant. Very deep, bright magenta color. Black cherry, raspberry, pomegranate, and tar. Smooth, dry, slightly tart palate, with good acidity. Firm tannins on the longish finish.
This is more robust and raw (in a bad way) than my last bottle. It’s a bit of a victim of the vintage. It’s also possible that this specific bottle was a little off.

Two and a half hour double decant. Very very deep ruby color. Raspberry fondant, red plum, violet, black tea, and subtle tobacco on the nose. Smooth and very dry palate, with dusty acidity. Firm, full, medium intensity tannins on the medium long+ finish.
This continued to improve over an hour of drinking. Nice, but youthful, CdP.

Quick decant. Nose of pine needles, black cherry, and oak. Firm black plum, black currant, and black olive palate with oak and notes of spruce. Candied cherry starts the finish, with tight but supple tannins, thyme, and hints of pine tar. Young, fresh-cut oak gives it an edge at the end. Feels like a couple more years in the bottle are needed for this to open up. 91+ points.

Deep and intense. While still young, surprisingly drinkable now. Great fruit, length and balance. 100% Grenache.
