The wine is clear with no evidence of visual faults. It's a medium gold in color. The nose is composed of stewed carrots, fresh cut grass, parsley, golden delicious apples, a hint of petrol, a hint of asparagus, and a few other tertiary aromas. The palate contains most of what is in the nose, but is heavy on the stewed carrots and also includes lime peel. This wine is dry with medium acidity, medium body and a medium finish. This is what a Pinot Gris should not be. Overall, considering the varietal, this is wine is only of acceptable quality.
