Scents of fennel, rosemary, olive, juniper. Blackberry fruit with a touch of raspberry thrown in. Cacao nib bitterness and bacon fat in midpalate. Floral lift of violet. Brisk acidity. Peppery finish with tobacco leaf note.
Medium body, Medium plus acidity. Medium supple tannin.
Cote du Rhone with 100% Syrah. More dark-fruited than typical Grenache-dominant Cote-du-Rhone's. Relatively easy drinking.

This is so lovely for a sub-$20 wine. And consistent year after year. Black olives and sage with a gentle, yet lingering, finish. Doesn’t need much air right now. Drink now to 2028. Worth Seeking Out.

Another outstanding vintage of this CdR classic. 100% Syrah. Deep ruby color. Bright aromas of blackberry, blueberry, kirsch and bacon fat. Fruit forward palate notes ripe plum and black currants with distinctive notes of vanilla, black pepper and grilled herbs. Touch of graphite and saline on the medium-plus luxurious finish. Creamy texture and smooth tannins. Outstanding quality and consistency for the price.

Fantastic value, just a bit rough but gorgeous peppery notes, good structure, and a lovely finish.

Bouche savoureuse de fruits noirs, mûr à point, bonne tenue avec petite chauffe en finale. (14,5%)
