Just like my last experience with this wine a few months ago, the nose has expressive notes of Grenache and garrigue. On the palate continues with garrigue, sage, kirsch and worn saddle leather. The fruit is definitely fading, so I would recommend not waiting too much longer to drink these.

It has been a long time since I pulled a cork on this vintage, but I was actually pleasantly surprised. At 19 years old, it does need to be consumed.
It has a pretty light red color with an orange rim. Notes of kirsch define the nose. On the palate, the fruit has definitely faded, but still you get the typical kirsch, garrigue, and tapenade. It has a fairly long finish. Very nice, but if you have several or more bottles of this vintage, then I would recommend that you pull some corks.

Non NBI cuvee, didn't write down importer. Thought I'd just check in on a 95 CNP and this bottle confirmed they are not ready. Perhaps the most long haul vintage since the 80s. Enjoyable, but still quite structured and angular. I would hold, for sure.

Ch. Clos du Mont-Olivet, Chateauneuf-du-Pape Dinner (The Conrad Hotel, Hong Kong): Light translucent red colour. An attractive touch of sweat and undergrowth on the nose but not much fruit. Distinct nicotine on the front palate turning into nice cherry stone fruit in the mid-palate but finishes on a harsh tannic note. Not much length. Disappointing.

No notes taken, but this was the best bottle yet. The overall experience was consistent with my last note but this bottle just seemed more complete in every way.
