Drank over two days; day 1 with assorted cheeses - bright fruit (raspberry) and slight ash-like quality (Grenache?). a little one dimensional. Day 2 - many more layers showing: had with red-wine braised beef. Notes of pomegranate, red currant; acidity, soft, well-integrated tannin. Both days enjoyable, much more interesting on day 2. Nice wine now, easily around for the long haul.

Rustic and earthy rendition of a CdP. Still miles to go yet.

Dark cherries, medium tannins, warm on the nose.

Not bad but not distinctive. Should have given it more air and drunk with a heavier dish
