Was pleasantly surprised to find a few of these in my cellar. Phantom is a consistent QPR for Bogle. Modest but nice blackberry nose; good flavor, the PS is still noticeable but the tannins are gone; I like the PS/Zin combination. Popped and poured with dinner.

Fully mature at this point, if you have any plan to drink before summer 2014.
A weird kind of CNd'P a la American style, this blend of Petite Syrah, Old Vine Zin and Old Vine Mourvedre has notes of cedar and spice on the nose followed by juicy (Petite Syrah), sweet (Old Vine Zin) and ultimately velvet heavy (Mourvedre) layers on the palate. I think its unfortunate that you can taste all the assembled elements so clearly at this point - perhaps a few years back they were more integrated? Thin on the finish but pleasant throughout.

it's still a beautiful wine full of sweet red fruits with spice and plum on the finish.

Used in a new recipe ( currently on the Cameron Hughes Website) for hot-mulled wine. This was a crowd pleaser.
