Wonderful wine with balance. Flavours showing ripe plums, dark berries, some mint, herbal notes. Dusty drying tannins in the background.

Altogether a more cohesive experience now. Felt the Cabernet was more noticeable and the overall wine less volatile. Probably right in the slot for a 750ml, but will definitely go a few more years. 93-94

Pnp. Uber dark red plum, almost black, almost right to the rim. Black raspberry, eucalyptus, black mulch, a hint of iodine and wet slate on the nose. Velvet glove with no iron fist. Super smooth, huge fruit extract, melted tannins, nice acidity, balanced alcohol. Full bodied. Sweet ripe berry fruit, very dark, all black and purple, very youthful! Mix of raspberry, blackberry, and mulberry all mashed together. No noticeable oak left. Very juicy and fruity on the palate. Rather tongue coating. Quite long and enveloping on the finish. Definitely gluggable!
