  It is really nice to see how these wines have stood up to some aging and that the alcohol does burn off to reveal some nice evolution.

  It has been nine years since my last bottle. This has improved, as the searing tannins of its youth have substantially mellowed and this has become more a harmonious wine. The fruit has not faded and this remains quite spry. These appellation Syrahs seem to age very well.
