Tasted double-blind. Correctly identified as Carinena (Carignan). A personal favorite of the tasting. Mature flavors and aromas of black cherry and plum, raisin, and dried fig while remaining slightly jammy. Leather, chocolate, mocha, vanilla all show on the long, refined tannin finish.

Mixed Priorat Tasting: Sweet but fresh blackberry fruit with a long and refreshing aftertaste. Very nice depth and lots of impressive elegance. A very lovely wine!!
