Adding to my previous note, it’s noticeably a syrupy style which may fade with age. But the flavours are nice, black currents of course, but that savoury touch of olive is good, necessary.

{screwcap, 13.8} Deep ruby. Olive, bay leaf, basil. Chocolately richness, but always with a curranty, black-tinged leafy cabernet note. Palate is predictable after the nose, but also has medium fine dusty tannins, and some fresh acid. Still has a fairly dense quality though. Medium-weight. Subtle oak. Does finish a little on the warm side. Fills out the palate quite well. Should age well enough for 5-8 years. Priced around A$35, which is perhaps a bit rich for what it is. Just a bit.

Enjoyed this much more than my last bottle six months ago. Dark, youthful appearance. Capsicum, bay leaf, olive, camphor, dark chocolate, graphite Medium bodied, acid present but well balanced Tannin are still very grippy but have a nice polish Drink now or hold Good stuff

Lifted fruit, herbal, touch of olive. Nice nose.
Fresh, med weight, grippy finish. It treads the line between fruit sweetness and savoury quite well.
A bit tamarillo. As some Margaret River cabernets can be. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tamarillo
It’s still a food wine, as it should be.
13.8%, screwcap

Enjoyable MR Cab.
Drinking well now.
Maybe a touch simple, can't really see a lot of upside.
Good value.
