Seemed closed, light and thin. A closed phase or too old. Marce says definitely not too old, so I'm hoping it's just closed. At the moment, not that much fun.

Better than the previous bottles which had felt a little closed. This was more open, more typically CDR, but already with an abundance in tertiary flavours that hadn't shown in previous tastings at the start of the year. I don't think it will last to see a full decade.

Very dark N Rhone, like a darker Crozes in a way. Enjoyed this with food, though a bit simple.

A very drinkable Cotes du Rhone with a distinctive taste verging on eucalyptus. Don't leave it overnight though.... ***
