Beautiful warm almost lush with soft tannins. However, it took four hours in a decanter to get there. Wine would outlive me if I let it, but of course I won’t!

Dusty red fruit, dried cranberries, dried cherries, dried violets, cedar, leather, caramelized sugar, cooked sage, and tar.
Palate is a bit tight with high acidity and tannin. Long finish. This wine definitely improves and increases in complexity with air time.

Medium dark red. Starts a bit green/herbal but becomes very savoury, broth, black cherry, plums and tar. Tasty dark fruit and dark fruit flavours and a long textured savoury finish.
PdB has never failed to disappoint for me lately. This one was great. 3 hour decant.

A little earthy expression to add to the normal Barbaresco fruit. Very, very good but not sure it is really ready. Some bitterness to shed, hopefully.
