  Similar to previous bottles with complex secondary notes (pine, clove, rose) coming through more. The beautiful nose and extreme smoothness are lingering memories. Still going strong.

  Very solid wine. Lavender on the rim. Boysenberry and cedar on the nose. Blue and black fruit, cedar, pine. Good acidity still. Fruit a bit muddled, but fine. Medium + finish. Tannins are thin. Not hot and not overly oaked. A nice 90 point wine.

  Decanted 60 minutes. Beautiful nose of blackberry, hint of leather. Full, clean on palate with red/blue fruit, good smooth tannin and acid. Medium pleasant finish.

  Nose has cranberry, blackberry and blueberry. Taste is a little flat. Went better with dinner of steak filets. Alcohol comes through at the end and seems to disjoint the wine. I feel the wine has peaked and needs food to really experience it
