Texas Wine School - Wines of Italy Class. Decanted for a several hours. This is a good, traditionally made Brunello, with ripe red fruit, black fruit, earth. The acidity is medium (+), the tannins are medium (+) and youthful and the alcohol is medium to medium (+) at (13.5%). This is a very well made and balanced wine, but I don't think it will reward further cellaring. Drink now through 2018. Very good, but nowhere near the 94 that WS gave it back in January of 2009.

Nice color still but light. Strong raspberry and dried cherry on the nose. Definitely red fruit there. Very nice quaff. Not complex but pretty nice fruit finish with a tart bite. This was a value; bought on release but pretty sure it was <$30 a bottle. Great with a garlicky pasta

Very nice. Excellent balance and smooth tannins with beautiful berry notes. Drank it with my mom and my sister's family.
