A great bottle! At it’s peak, I would guess. I’ve been disappointed in previous bottles, but this is everything a Bordeaux should be, minus some complexity and cedar, which may develop overnight. An ideal prime rib hamburger wine. Easy drinking, totally integrated tannins, imho.

At or slightly past its drinking window. The nose was terrible on the pop and pour but the funk blew off after a short decant. Decent fruit starting to show secondary notes but really not anything special. Not disappointed at $23/bottle though.

Right bank SEGC which has a medium density, black fruits, sweet, mouthful, acid and tannins balanced. Nice easy to drink wine, not complex but not simple.

Reasonable right bank St. Emilion grand cru that has medium palate weight. With or without food - this wine is easy and always ladies like it.

A reasonable easy drinking right bank st. emilion. Nothing complicated and fruity wine but heavy on weight due to tannins.
