Creme brulee, mocha, and dark spice on the nose. More of the same with caramel and dried dark apricots on the palate. Dry and refreshing, I would have preferred to have this on its own. Would have performed better if paired with something other than a deep chocolate dish. Time seems to stand still for these well-made older madeiras. 93+

(Abudarham Madeira Bual) Dark Lipton tea brown with pale yellow meniscus and a little cloudiness; murky VA and soft caramel nose; tasty caramel palate with good acidity and richness; long finish
