Yellow apple and grapefruit on the palate, with notes of lemon and something yeasty on the short to medium finish, with a fine bubble and strong acidity. This was a good value at about $30.

Alex's TWS dinner (Noizé, London): A light copper with a definite pink flush to it. Fine mousse, good verve - refreshing after travelling on a hot day. Red apple skin, grape must, grapefruit and uncooked bread dough. Smooth and creamy, nice depth. Good start.

Retail $50. Heavy bottle (832g; 1lb 13.3oz). 100% Pinot Noir from l'Aube. I am surprised it has been nearly two years since the last bottle of this wine that we opened. Perhaps not surprising? Similar notes to the last bottle. We just picked up another case from Last Bubbles, while this bottle came from Last Bottle Wines (yes, the two are related, if you were wondering). 91 Points.
primary flavor heavy. ripping acid. well balance grapefruit rind, limoncello, dried apricot, white cherry, almond, and pastry. Solid more approachable (and more enjoyable) than the 1995 champagne we had a few days ago 🤷♂️ fraction of the price. Guess our sparkling palettes aren't refined.

Crowd pleaser!
A little too much sweetness for me but still very drinkable.
From magnum and well worth it.
