Paired with Crab Spaghetti with Lemon Gremolata. Pale yellow in the glass. Lemon citrus on the nose. Palate is bright and crisp with lemon, a bit of honeysuckle, and mineral. Good finish!

It has a funky tomato taste that disappears after a couple of hours, but there is nothing redeeming in the interim. This wine has tasted better in he past, but tonight, I’m ambivalent.

Pale straw. Attractive but subtle nose of mandarins and lemons. On the palate, a crisp entry then a long fanning out of flavours: citrus fruit, a touch of sweet oak, subtle nuttiness. All underpinned with a wonderful fresh minerality. Good length. For me this is exactly what Chablis is all about. A Tasetevinage selection, bottle no. 530. 13%, cork.

This is very good but not exactly what one expects from Chablis. Medium body, kind of creamy midpalate and a bracing, slightly citric finish.
