Dark garnet color. Nose of dark fruit, some leather and spice. Mouthfeel rather light. Somewhat disjointed. Tannins are almost non-existant. Slight overtones of the traditional Cab flavor profile but really lacking. A little cassis, leather, dark fruit and pepper. Overall this is a pass. The normal price of this is $6.99. For the same price I can get a Red Diamond Cab at Trader Joe's that you can tell right away is a Cab with strong flavors and noticable tannins. Even at the sale price of $4.99 I'd spend the extra two bucks and go for the Red Diamond.
