Notes for a 2015 edition Cartizze: a fine example, pale straw in color, nose is prominently pear, with pear and apple notes on the palate. Very enjoyable!

NC Cindy Tasting. Almost clear in color, with not a lot of fizz, this prosecco has almost no nose to it at all. Save for a touch of yeastiness, there's very little to be had. It is surprising how aromatically challenged this is. The palate is also very delicate. There a little touch of the same yeastiness, infused with some light golden delicious apple. The palate is a bit sweet, but has the bitter zing of some citrus peel on the short finish. All-in-all this is pretty basic and very subtle, and should be served as a standalone or with only very light appetizers. An average bubbly at best, in my view, but was still better than the preceding white Lambrusco that I had brought.

Candied pear on the nose . Not terribly complex on the palate. Pear, apple. High quality finish.

Nice Presseco. Slight fizz, light, refreshing, apple on the palate. This was a gift-- thoroughly enjoyed this bottle!
