  • Saturday Walk Around Tasting 2/4/2012 (Gourmet Shop Columbia SC): A delightful, easy drinking white Bordeaux blend. Probably a little residual sugar, which sort of works, off set with plenty of refreshing Granny Smith apple acid to balance. Almost clear in color. Floral nose with lots of fresh. outdoorsy things going on with honeysuckle, grass, lemon, pear, and other tropical type fruit. Medium bodied, but still does a nice job filling the palate because of the slight sweetness. Not exactly rich, but kind of weighty, probably from the blending of Semillon and Muscadelle. Seems so alive, this is one of those wines that makes you want to take another sip. Does not need to be chilled, the flavors woke up more as the glass got warmer.
