We have had a lot of these wines, so at first,we thought the closed citrus taste was because it was too cold. However, even after we let it open, it still had huge predominantly citrus notes...like grapefruit. Nice, but not the unbelievably creamy, pineapple notes this winery is known for. Good, but hold on for the 2010 vintage!!!

Clear, medium gold, presence of legs. Clean, medium+ intensity nose complex developing nose, vanilla, butter, pineapple, quince and peach. Dry, medium refreshing acidity, soft low tannins, medium+ body, medium+ delicate alcohol, medium+ intensity flavours, butter, vanilla, nuts, quince, pineapple, peach, balanced, creamy, medium finish. It's a very good quality wine, complex and elegant. Drink now, but has potential for further ageing.

11/26/2016 - Harley1199 Does not like this wine:
Second Judgment of Madrid, Still an Aficionados' Matter (Restaurante Garcia de la Navarra - Madrid): When it is unanimous opinion among the judges that it was the oldest and most evolved wine being among the youngest, it is for something.
Many tropical notes on the nose and without much to say in the mouth, without even some length.
Deserved last position among white wines.

Oaky with some butterscotch notes. Also very acidic and noticeable alcohol.

I am against the flow here.
Did not detect much fruit- a hint of oak but not much butter. No stone fruit nor tropical fruit.
It wasn't horrible, but I did not enjoy it as much as other whites.
Drank with grilled Ono, vegetables, rice and salad.
Paid $20 at K&L.
