Clean fresh and pale, the wine is a delight to drink. It quickly gets lost though among other white Burgundies, even if they are all Chablis. Moderate detail and finish. Perhaps I should not expect more from a Premier Cru.

This was perhaps the star of a great Chablis tasting this weekend. We gave this wine the tall order of following a Paulee-style tasting of 35 Grand Cru Chablis wines from various producers and vintages. Prior to the tasting, I wondered if this 1er Cru might show up many of the Grand Crus that preceded it...and it did. This wine simply exploded from the glass with a salty, seashell nose. It was youthful still and extremely powerful. Complex wine. Even more delightful once the food hit the table - this wine is deserving of great food for the full gastronomic experience! Another huge winner from Raveneau.
Excellent. Even better than I remembered it being, and I loved it the last time I drank it. So fresh, with loads of lovely citrus fruit and minerality. This is what Chablis is all about, just drinking great.

Amazing. We had this at dinner with a few other great wines and it was the star. Clean, not showing any oxidation. Bright lime. Great texture. The wine just sung.
