Premoxed...shitty... caramelized...total crap. Tom Morey owes me $80. This is one of the reasons I have a hard time with Burgundy...way too many misfires.

Beautiful wine. Honey, peach, almond and lime/citrus in the finish. Much similar experience to the bottle enjoyed some 6 months ago, although this one seemed a bit shyer in the beginning. Maybe served too cold. 91-92P

Beautiful colour and an absolute stunning nose, right from the beginning. The nose just grow and gain more and more complexity, after one hour it is hypnotic. Honey and almond. Vanilla added after some time in the glass. Absolut beautiful nose. You almost want just to smell it and not drink it. In the mouth it is very smooth and have honey, peach, almond and lime/citrus in the finish. Lack some complexity and length of the finish compared to the promises from the nose. Knowing the wines of Thomas Morey I think this will gain more finesse and complexity over the next 3-4 years. Still a great wine to drink now, but I think I will keep my remaining bottles for another 3-4 years (but not much longer). I really love the style from Thomas Morey. His wines are excellent. 93+

Classic full bodied, smoky, minerally Chassagne. Though it's a bit closed up, it shows apple, peach apple pie, toasty oak and a fresh lingering finish. This needs a few years to open up again.

Tapas & an Embarassment of Riches at Craig's (Craig & Nita's Place): Premoxed. Not undrinkable, but undesirable.
